ADAPTATION: tying in the character with the environment

Work in progress, after tutorial with Justin.
I've shortened the tree to make it more stubby and chunky like a children's toy.  The nest is now more womb-like and cradles Plop, whilst the design of the tree will wrap around him in a nurturing, protective way.
I am debating reflecting Plop's feet in the roots of the tree trunk, and wings/arms in the side branches, so I am sketching these before making a decision.
